Today I'm going to introduce the recipe of Watalappam. It's very special to Muslims. Muslims prepare this to their festivals, special occasions and other. So, let's go to the recipe.....

Watalappam Recipe
Ingredients
Sugar - 200g
Jaggery - 50g
Eggs - 5
Cardamom - 2
Coconut milk - 3/4 cup
Water - 1cup
Recipe
First of all, let's prepare the sugar syrup. So, add the brown sugar in a pan and on the flame, set flame in a low level. Then, while the sugar is melting add the jaggery and mix it. After that, add the water little by little mix it well. Then, smash the cardamom slower and add it too. If you don't like it, you may add the vanilla essence. When it looks brownish color off the flame, because when it darked, it could make a savor taste. Now, sugar syrup is ready let it be chill. Now, add the eggs in a bowl mix it well using a visk until it bubbles. After mixing the eggs well we need to add the add the sugar syrup into eggs. Before that add the coconut milk into the syrup and mix it well. Now, add the syrup in to the mixed egg and mix it as well. After mixing it well you may set it to boil. So, I used the electric pressure cooker to boil it,
but you may use streamer or other. In electric pressure cooker it'll take 20 minutes to boil. In streamer it'll take around 30-40 minutes. So, your watalappam is ready.
