Gulab Jamun Recipe

This is one of my favorite foods I'm going to introduce today. Most of everyone would like this snack called Gulab Jamun. So, let's go through the recipe...

Gulab Jamun Recipe 

Ingredients to Gulab Jamun syrup

Sugar - 2 1/2 cup
Water - 3 cup
Rose Essence - 1Tsp

Ingredients to the Gulab Jamun dough

Butter - 1/2 cup
Milk Powder - 2 cup
Flour - 2 Tbsp
Semolina(Rulan flour) - 5 Tbsp
Baking Powder - 1 Tbsp
Water

Recipe  

First of all, lets prepare Gulab Jamun syrup. So, to prepare this get a pan and add the sugar also, water before switch on the flame. Then, on the flame and mix it well until the sugar dilutes. After sugar is melted add Rose essence in the syrup and mix it. Finally, your syrup is ready, keep on a side for a while.

Now let's start preparing the dough to Gulab jamun. So, now add the semolina in bowl and pour the water until it fills the semolina. Then, keep it on a side for a while, now take another bowl. Add the milk powder, flour and baking powder then mix it well. After that, add the butter to the mixture as well and mix it. Then, add the semolina mixture that you kept on a and mix it well. If the dough is sticky add a little bit of milk powder and mix it. when the dough is done seal it and keep it for a while. The dough must be smooth and soft. Also, If the dough is in dry texture spread some water to that because when the dough is dry the Gulab jamun balls will be hard like a stone. Now, you may prepare the balls also, add some butter to your hands so the dough wants sticks on your hands. Make sure the dough is not dry and because ball would be crack when your role it. So, spread some water on it and role it. After, preparing the balls we can start fry it. If we fry it twice the Gulab jamun balls will absorb the syrup deeply. After, frying put the balls in the syrup and keep it for 5 minutes. Your Gulab jamun is ready now.
